Offering the most diverse and authentic Caribbean visitor experience, St. Vincent and the Grenadines is boosting room stock by over 1,200 within the next few years. 

• Sandals Resorts International is proceeding with plans for the construction of its USD 100 million 350-room Beaches St. Vincent resort at Buccament Bay. Executive Chairman Adam Stewart says the hotel will be second to none of anything they have ever done, anywhere, and it will be a bold statement not just for the destination but more so the evolution of the Sandals brands and guest experiences alike.
• Additionally, the government is investing USD 16 million to construct two hotels with international partners. The 100-room Holiday Inn Express at Diamond near the Argyle International Airport and the 250-room Marriott Resort at Mt Wynne on the west coast will also increase hotel capacity.
• The Holiday Inn Express will serve as an airport and business hotel, a venue for visiting athletes to utilise the adjacent world-class track and an important teaching institution, given its proximity to the Hospitality Training Institute.
